Wahaya IT has created customized IT plans that provide clients with everything they need. We proactively manage networks based on two principles: lowest total cost of ownership and convenience for our clients. We automate as much as we can to reduce cost, and this allows us to serve our clients at lower prices than larger providers that offer a mass-market delivery process. We also can deliver long-term service that costs less than small shops that lack experience.

Our Name
Wahaya (also ‘waya’ or ‘wahya’) means ‘wolf’ in Cherokee. It is written ᏩᏯ in the Cherokee syllabary (a writing system invented by Sequoyah). The word ‘wahaya’ (‘wahya’) is onomatopoetic, resembling the distinctive howl made by the wolf.

Our Owner
Chad was born and raised in Baton Rouge. He grew up watching his family run and operate businesses focused on customer service. He started working in IT and realized that many companies in this industry were over-selling or providing a blanket product to their customers instead of giving them exactly what they needed. This fundamental difference of opinion led to the creation of Wahaya IT. Chad sought to provide clients with a personalized IT plan without a long-term commitment. As a result, we provide outsourced IT management solutions at a fraction of the cost of typical insourced IT departments. Chad created Wahaya IT with the customer in mind. Twenty years later, that mindset has not shifted.
